Just this morning I was thinking about the first “REAL” pair of sunglasses I ever bought myself. It was 2003, I had been working as an optometrist in Minneapolis for just over a year, finally making an adult income. And it was summer. AND it was the type of day that I felt like I deserved to treat myself to something. So I popped into a cute optical in Uptown to visit my friend, Jason.
