Legato Frames

Your eyes and ears work together more than you might think. That’s why McCulley Optix Gallery is one of the first eye care practices in the U.S. to offer Legato Frames, the world’s first AI-based hearing glasses.

Legato Frames look like the glasses you’d choose anyway. They hold your prescription lenses, and the hearing technology is built discreetly into the arms, so nothing sits in your ears. Dr. Melissa McCulley and our team fit them the same way we fit every frame: around your vision, your face and your day.

Our care doesn’t end when you leave the office. We fit your Legato Frames with the same attention to detail as every pair we sell, and each pair comes with free lifetime support from Legato’s U.S.-based team of audiologists and product specialists. It’s an extension of the service you already get from our staff, with real people ready to help whenever you have a question.

Curious whether they’re right for you? Start with a complimentary hearing screening at your next visit.

Hearing, Built Into Your Frames

Legato Frames pair premium eyewear with AI-powered hearing technology. Everything that helps you hear lives in the arms of the glasses, so they look and feel like a frame you’d wear every day.

SpeechSense™ AI

Separates speech from background noise in real time, right on the glasses, so conversations come through clearly even in a busy room. No cameras and no recording.

Open-Ear Comfort

Nothing sits in your ears. You stay aware of your surroundings, and the frames are light enough to wear all day, as little as 34 grams with lenses.

Your Prescription

Legato Frames hold your prescription lenses, so one pair handles both how you see and how you hear. Our opticians measure and fit them just like any frame we carry.

All-Day Battery

10+ hours of battery life on a single charge, enough to take you from morning coffee to dinner out with friends.

Music & Calls

Bluetooth streaming for music, podcasts and phone calls on both iPhone and Android.

Support for Life

Every pair comes with free lifetime support from Legato’s U.S.-based team of audiologists and product specialists.

Independently Tested

Performance You Can Trust

HearAdvisor, an independent audiology lab, tests hearing devices in dozens of real-world sound environments and rates each one with a SoundScore.

In its May 2026 testing, Legato Frames scored 4.6 out of 5, the highest of any hearing glasses tested. That ties the Phonak Sphero and tops prescription hearing aids from Signia, Widex and Starkey, at a fraction of the price.

We start with a quick hearing screening. It takes just a few minutes and gives you a clear picture of how you’re hearing today, at no cost.

Choosing Your Style Together

We’ll talk through your vision needs, your style and how you’ll use your glasses, then help you try on each Legato style to find the one that suits you.

Precise Measurements and Lenses

Our opticians take careful measurements and fit your prescription lenses so your Legato Frames sit comfortably and stay put through the day.

Setting Up Your Hearing

We’ll help you get started with the Legato app, pair your phone for streaming, and make sure your Frames are tuned to how you like to hear.

A Follow-Up to Confirm Your Comfort

We’ll check in after you’ve worn them for a while to adjust the fit. Legato’s U.S.-based audiologists and product specialists are also available for support, for life.
