Boston College is where she earned her undergraduate honors, and she later finished optometry school with honors too, this time at the Southern College of Optometry. Afterward, she spent four years in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Ophthalmology, working with specialty contact lens patients and individuals managing low vision. That hands-on clinical grounding is part of why she approaches every exam with patience instead of a checklist mentality, and it’s part of what makes her the kind of eye doctor patients recommend to friends and family.
